Titanium Metals Board of Directors Approves 2-For-1 Stock Split

DENVER (AP) -- Titanium Metals Corp., a producer of titanium melted and mill products said Friday that its board of directors has approved a 2-for-1 split of its common stock.

Stockholders of record will receive one additional share for every share held on Feb. 6, company officials said. The shares will be distributed Feb. 16.

The Denver-based company also announced the approval of an amendment to its certificate of incorporation increasing its authorized common stock to 200 million shares.

Shares of Titanium Metals added after $3.02, or 4.3 percent, to $74, closing at $70.98 on the New York Stock Exchange.
