As of Monday, 12 June, shareholders of Conergy AG (ISIN DE0006040025, WKN code 604002) will automatically own two additional shares of stock for each share formerly held. Having been entered into the Commercial Register, the dividend, approved at the last shareholders> meeting held 29 May 2006, can now be rapidly distributed. The move increases the company>s share capital from previously EUR 10 million to EUR 30 million, with a total of 20,000,000 stock dividend shares being issued. The number of Conergy shares outstanding will triple as a result, the market price thus being reduced by a factor of one third, constituting a 1:2 reverse stock split. The stock dividend will be automatically deposited to Conergy shareholder accounts from the company treasury on 9 June 2006 at the applicable market price as of that date.
